Welcome to our comprehensive course on bookkeeping for beginners and small business owners! Whether you are just starting out or looking to improve your skills, this course will give you a solid foundation in the fundamentals of bookkeeping.

This hands-on course is designed for beginners and small business owners who want to do their own bookkeeping or those who want to refresh their knowledge of the basics. It is also a recommended starting point for those who want to continue their education in bookkeeping or use bookkeeping software like MYOB or Xero.

Course Content

Bookkeeping for Small Business will cover topics such as Business Structures, Bookkeepers’ Role in a Business, Double-entry Bookkeeping Concepts, Receivable and Payable, GST and PAYG, Business Activity Statements, Basic Payroll and Basic Financial Statements.

This short course will give you the firm foundations you need to do your own bookkeeping or to go onto further study. Ideal for those looking to start a small business or need to update their skills.

The Introduction to Bookkeeping course is perfect for beginners and small business owners who want to learn how to do bookkeeping.

Materials Fee of $19.95 (Optional)

Funded Fee: Applies to Australian or New Zealand Citizens, Holder of an Australian permanent visa, An Asylum seeker holding a valid visa that confers eligibility for Skills First training.

Concession Fee: Applies only to holders of a current Health Care Card, Pensioner Concession Card or Veteran’s Gold Card

Full Fee: Applies to those who do not qualify for government funding, ie. overseas residents and school students

Make payment in full on enrolment either by cash, credit card or EFTPOS. In some circumstances, it is possible to arrange a payment plan. Conditions apply.

To finalise your enrolment, you will be asked to present your Medicare card, Drivers License and Concession Card (if applicable) at reception for us to sight and photocopy.  This is for proof of Australian residence purposes.
