Introduction to Microsoft Outlook and Email

Whether for personal or professional communications, email has emerged as one of the most popular channels of communication. Email is typically the prefered method of communication in businesses of all sizes. The majority of businesses have discovered the necessity to deploy a corporate mail management system such as Microsoft Outlook, to handle the messages and meeting invitations sent among employees as email usage and popularity expand.

In this course, you will learn how to use Outlook to send, receive, and manage email messages as well as to keep track of your contacts, plan meetings and appointments, create tasks and notes for yourself, and adjust the Outlook interface to your preferences.

All our classes are face to face and lead by experienced trainers.

Course Content

On completion of this course, learners will be able to:

  • Browse the internet safely
  • Understand the difference between work and personal emails
  • Send and receive standard emails
  • Manage work email and its features
  • Manage password security
  • Set up and manage access to emails on different devices
  • Understand and apply the standard features of MS Outlook
  • Import and export contacts from email accounts
  • Use MS Outlook calendar and response to work meetings invitations
  • Complete and share tasks in MS Outlook.
