Welcome to DVLC’s Xero for Beginners course! Our comprehensive xero course is designed to teach you the basics of Xero accounting software, no matter your experience level. Whether you’re an entrepreneur, freelancer, or just starting your own business, our course will provide you with the knowledge and tools you need to efficiently manage your business finances.
Our qualified CPA trainer will guide you through the features of Xero, helping you to navigate through the program with ease. You will learn how to set up a business, create and send invoices, process payments, perform bank reconciliations, and complete a Business Activity Statement. Additionally, you will be able to manage your payroll, including creating and processing a pay run and managing timesheets and leave applications.
This course runs over 8 weeks with 3 hours of class each week.
Completing this course counts towards the Member CPD requirements of CPA Australia, helping you meet the 120-hour requirement over three years and 20 hours annually for ongoing professional development.
Our Xero for Beginners course covers the following topics:
• Setting up Xero and accessing the Help Centre to solve queries
• Understanding Users and Permission
• Adding, deleting, and archiving Chart of Accounts
• Create, edit, void, and send invoices
• Processing payments, receipts, and bank reconciliation
• Create a bill and apply payments
• Payroll settings and process a pay run
• Prepare Business Activity Statement, General Journals and Reports
XERO is used in many small businesses and this XERO course helps those in small business do their own books or widens employment skills.
Learn the fundamentals of XERO to develop skills for self-employment, employment or study accredited bookkeeping.
Completion of the Introduction to Bookkeeping course or a knowledge of bookkeeping will be beneficial.
