Auslan (sign language) is the language of the Australian deaf community. These courses are aimed at those who have completed the Sign Language for Beginners course and would like to expand their knowledge. The courses cover signs used in the workplace, education, medical, transport, travel and more. Each student will have relevant scenarios applicable to their situation and you can expect to learn the more common signs available.

This course is aimed at expanding your Auslan knowledge to include signs covering the workplace, education, medical, transport, travel and more. It is by no means all-inclusive Auslan instruction where you will learn all the signs relevant to each subject matter. Each student will have relevant scenarios applicable to their situation and on this basis, you can expect to learn the more common signs available.
Completion of Sign Language Beginners or completion of the previous level before progressing to the next level.

To finalise your enrolment, you will be asked to present your Medicare card at reception for us to sight and photocopy. This is for proof of Australian residence purposes. Concession card holders will also need to present their concession card.
