ICT10115 Certificate I in Information, Digital Media and Technology is taught in a supportive learning environment and enables students to build on existing basic computer skills with accredited units of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet.

The qualification provides for basic computer skills in the workplace and supplements existing roles in other industries where basic computer skills have become necessary.
In order to obtain the full ICA10111 qualification, students must be assessed as competent in all 6 units of the course. If a student is unable to complete all the units in the qualification, they will be awarded a Statement of Attainment (SOA) for the units in which they have been assessed as competent.
It is strongly advised that students purchase a manual for each unit from DVLC; this is separate from the course costs. Students wishing to complete all units within the 36 sessions must have access to a computer at home which is in good order, with Office 2010 installed, and be prepared to reinforce and further their learning at home.
This training is delivered with Victorian and Commonwealth Government funding.
