To help identify and manage the ongoing risk of COVID-19, DVLC is offering a short course in HLTSS00064 – Infection Control Skill Set. It is FREE to those currently employed in customer-facing roles in the Disability Care/Individual Support/Aged Care sectors. The course will be held online via Zoom video conferencing.
The course consists of three classes on the specified dates plus an observation session (to be advised).
HLTSS00064 Infection Control Skill Set consists of the following unit of competency:
HLTINF001 Comply with infection prevention and control policies and procedures
Participants who successfully complete this training will receive a Statement of Attainment.

You will require a Unique Student Identifier (USI) to enrol in this course. If you do not have a USI, please apply directly at https://www.usi.gov.au/students/create-your-usi.
You may already have a USI If you have done any nationally recognised training, which could include training at work, completing a first aid course or RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) course, getting a white card, or studying at a TAFE or training organisation. It is important that you try to find out whether you already have a USI before attempting to create a new one. You should not have more than one USI. This training is funded by the Victorian and Commonwealth Governments and is FREE to those employed in customer-facing roles in the Disability Care/Individual Support/Aged Care sectors.

All students will need to present their Medicare card and photo ID (passport or driver’s licence) as proof of Australian residency. If you have a concession card please present this as well.
