Conversational English

If you’re struggling with speaking English, you’re not alone. Our course is designed to help you gain the confidence you need to communicate effectively in English. Whether you’re a recent immigrant to Australia or you’ve been here for a while, our course can help you improve your conversational skills. Taught by a skilled and experienced native English teacher, this course will provide you with the practical conversation skills you need to communicate effectively in English.

Course Content

Our course runs for 8 weeks, with classes held once a week for two hours. The small class size ensures that you get individual attention and support from our teacher, and provides you with plenty of opportunities to practice your English skills and receive feedback.

You will be able to practice speaking on a range of topics relevant to everyday lives, such as:

  • shopping
  • banking
  • family life
  • food
  • health and fitness
  • hobbies and interests
  • school and work
  • life experiences
  • plans for the future

Materials Fee of $29.95 (Optional)

Funded Fee: Applies to Australian or New Zealand Citizens, Holder of an Australian permanent visa, An Asylum seeker holding a valid visa that confers eligibility for Skills First training.

Concession Fee: Applies only to holders of a current Health Care Card, Pensioner Concession Card or Veteran’s Gold Card

Full Fee: Applies to those who do not qualify for government funding, ie. overseas residents and school students

Or else you can enrol at our Centre.

Make payment in full on enrolment either by cash, credit card or EFTPOS. In some circumstances, it is possible to arrange a payment plan. Conditions apply.

To finalise your enrolment, you will be asked to present your Medicare card at reception for us to sight and photocopy.  This is for proof of Australian residency purposes.  Concession card holders will also need to present their concession card.
