This certificate course is designed for students whose first language is not English and who need help to improve their confidence and fluency in spoken and written English for everyday life, work and study. This training is delivered with Victorian and Commonwealth Government funding.

These courses are delivered part time running from February to November during school terms. Students may enrol at any time during the year. To enter the course students must attend a pre-enrolment interview.
Classes are small, relaxed and friendly. Students learn face to face with an experienced EAL teacher, receive individual help and can work at their own pace. Topics are chosen to suit the needs and interests of students in the class.
Students can elect to study 1, 2 or 3 days per week and class hours count towards Centrelink approved activity requirements.
